Gostava de ouvir alguns amigos que usam o MSProject diariamente… que tal este?

Estava a dar uma vista de olhos pelo Developers Sapo quando me apercebi que têm um novo (renovado?) contributo do prt.screener Pedro Couto e Santos
Lembrei-me imediatamente do magnífico Norwegian Blue. Pollllllly! Se tivesse tempo (e jeito para essas coisas) fazia já um overdub to sketch trocando o Parrot pelo Twitter.
- ‘Ello, I wish to register a complaint. ‘Ello, Miss?
- What do you mean “miss”?
- I’m sorry, I have a cold. I wish to make a complaint!
- We’re closin’ for lunch.
- Never mind that, my lad. I wish to complain about this service what I registered not half an hour ago with this very browser.
- Oh yes, … uh, Twitter…What’s,uh…What’s wrong with it?
- I’ll tell you what’s wrong with it, my lad. ‘E’s dead, that’s what’s wrong with it!
- No, no, ‘e’s uh,…he’s stressing.
- Look, matey, I know a dead service when I see one, and I’m looking at one right now.
- No no he’s not dead, he’s, he’s stressin’! Remarkable service, this Twitter, idn’it, ay? Beautiful web-design!
- The web-design don’t enter into it. It’s stone dead.
- Nononono, no, no! ‘E’s stressing!
- All right then, if he’s stressin’, I’ll wake him up! ‘Ello, Mister Twitty Service! I’ve got a lovely fresh cuttle update for you if you show…
- There, he replied!
- No, he didn’t, that was you hitting the down arrow!
- I never!!
- Yes, you did!
- I never, never did anything…
- ‘ELLO TWITTY!!!!! Update! Update! Update! Update! This is my nine o’clock twitt update! … Now that’s what I call a dead service.
- No, no…..No, ‘e’s undergoin maintenance!
- UNDERGOING MAINTENACE?!?
- Yeah! You stressed him, just as he was replying! Services stress easily, major.
- Um…now look…now look, mate, I’ve definitely ‘ad enough of this. That service is definitely deceased, and when I registered it not ‘alf an hour ago, you assured me that its total lack of responsiveness was due to it bein’ tired and shagged out following a global event.
- Well, he’s…he’s, ah…probably pining for the queries.
- PININ’ for the QUERIES?!?!?!? What kind of talk is that?, look, why did it stop answering the moment I started following my friends?
- Twitter prefers kippin’ on it’s back! Remarkable service, id’nit, squire? Lovely web-design!
- Look, I took the liberty of examining that service when I got it home, and I discovered the only reason that it had been replying in the first place was that it was serving a CACHED page.
- Well, o’course it was a cached page! If we weren’t serving a cached page it would have nuzzled up to the screen, break it apart with its updates, and VOOM! Feeweeweewee!
- “VOOM”?!? Mate, this service wouldn’t “voom” if you put four million volts through it! ‘E’s bleedin’ demised!
- No no! ‘E’s pining!
- ‘E’s not pinin’! ‘E’s passed on! This service is no more! He has ceased to be! ‘E’s expired and gone to meet ‘is developer! ‘E’s a stiff! Bereft of life, ‘e rests in peace! If you weren’t serving a cached page ‘e’d be pushing up the daisies! ‘Is metabolic processes are now ‘istory! ‘E’s off the twig! ‘E’s kicked the bucket, ‘e’s shuffled off ‘is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-service!!

Kick back watch it crumble, see the drowning, watch the fall. I feel just terrible about it.
That’s sarcasm…
Let it burn!I’m gonna make a toast when it falls apart, I’m gonna raise my glass above my heart, then someone shouts “That’s what they get!”
For all the years of hit and run, for all the piss broke bands on VH1, where did all their money go? Don’t we all know?
Parasitic music industry, as it destroys itself we’ll show them how it’s supposed to be
Music written from devotion, not ambition, not for fame, zero people are exploited, there are no tricks up our sleeve.
Gonna fight against the mass appeal, we’re gonna kill the 7 record deal and Mmke records that have more than one good song.
The dinosaurs will slowly die, and I do believe no one will cry, I’m just fucking glad I’m gonna be there to watch the fall
Prehistoric music industry, three feet in la brea tar. Extinction never felt so good
If you think anyone would feel badly, you are sadly mistaken. The time has come for evolution, fuck collusion, kill the five!
NOFX “Dinosaurs Will Die” (LIVE)
Whatever happened to the handshake? Whatever happened to deals no-one would break? What happened to integrity? It’s still there it always was, for playing music just because… a million reasons why.
(All) dinosaurs will die
So I did another search, and then another and still no answers, just more confusion.
Found out how cynical the search trend oracle can get.
The world is permanently invested in Love, oh yes, religioulsy peaking every Valentine day like a swiss clock.
And the world is absolutely disregardful for Hate. Cool!

On the other hand, people seem so excited with War sometimes.

Maybe they should be searching more for peace.
for more interesting results: check stress and relax, shame and confidence and sadness and hapiness
I just read a nice post on mashable pointing out that web-hosting is on the low and social media now owns the market share for those publishing, sharing and community building tasks you could only engage in if you had a hosting account.
Sooo true…
SOA and SAAS
So I took the opportunity of checking some more trends… So I did SOA and SAAS and the result is quite interesting: both show steady growth and an amazing, really, amazing synched seasonality.
To be more precise, in the past 3/4 years:
- SAAS search trend peaks twice a year, after the summer and new-year… the two peaks are becoming more sharp, year after year.
- SOA has a steep valley every late December, and it’s becoming deeper every year. SAAS nearly reached SOA by the end of 2006 and it cleary surpassed in late 2007.
- But the search trend for SOA does not show a valley in the fall opposing SAAS fall steady peaks.
- OTOH, SOA’s steady growth has slowed down and it became really wobbling through 2nd and 3rd quarter of both 06 and 07. Every year it looks more like a roller-coster.
- Finally, news about SOA and SAAS are becoming more popular all the time, but had an impressive low by the end of 2007.
- News about SOA took a head start but SAAS is now catching fast.
So, Autumn’s weather is nice for planning your next SAAS product? no one cares for SOA round christmas? SAAS is the buzz-word on new years eve?
Is the limited attention of the industry’s collective conscience bouncing between the focus on the best business model and the architectural concerns?
And, more important: what does this data tell us about the weather tomorrow?
